Our Story
It all started with a question: "Why don't more kids know about sustainability?"
Our founder and Executive Director, a high school student at the time, noticed that his classmates—and even younger students—were rarely taught about the environment, renewable energy, or how their choices affected the planet. Sustainability felt like a buzzword, not something real or relevant.
He knew that had to change.
So with a few friends, he launched Ethos Sustainability—a nonprofit built by students, for students. What began as a small idea has grown into a youth-led movement focused on hands-on education in sustainability, STEAM, and business.
We've hosted science fairs, run workshops, and created programs that help young people explore real-world challenges and come up with solutions of their own. At Ethos, we believe that students don't have to wait to grow up to lead—they can start now.
This is more than a nonprofit. It's a call to action: for youth, by youth, for a better future.
